SNAG Pre-School Programme

Pre School is such an important time for kids to learn those basic skills that we all take for granted, like
running, jumping, skipping, throwing and catching. As a caring parent I often see kids who are 7-8 yrs struggle with a simple
catch and throw and this is because no one has shown them. 

Our programme allows children aged between 3 – 5 years to experience a wide range of movement activities and be encouraged to think, create, construct and solve problems with their own bodies.

The SNAG equipment set-ups are safe, stimulating and provide unlimited movement opportunities for children to play, explore and learn.

Traditional golf in schools has been every teachers nightmare with the constant worry of someone getting hurt or something getting damaged by a stray ball. As a consequence students have missed out on the opportunity to  experience this unique
lifelong sport. Learning golf has been a difficult task to master for adults let alone children until now.

SNAG Golf have designed modified golfing equipment that is not only easy to use but addresses the safety concerns that traditional golf has with it’s tennis like balls and velcro targets.   
 
We know that every child is built differently, some are stronger, faster or more co-ordinated than others. With our SNAG In School Programme none of this matters because everyone starts off equal.

We have included a number of fundamental movement skills into our programme using modified equipment that promotes success and confidence regardless of age.

After School Programmes

We believe that every kiwi kid deserves to experience the unique and lifelong enrichment that golf provides. That’s why we have designed a six week programme that takes them on a journey from swinging a club for the first time to playing a few holes and counting their shots. The SNAG equipment is perfect at teaching the fundamentals of golf where success and enjoyment are the guiding principles.

The SNAG Golf After-School Programme is the ideal stepping stone for kids wanting to get into golf for the first time and for parents wanting to see their kids learn a sport that they will take with them into their future careers.

School Holiday Programmes
